bearded dragon fungus on leg

Question
i got mine from a crowded cage full of baby bearded dragons i didn't notice that one of his toes was gone then as months went my bearded dragon was growing but his foot got swollen and a little black but he was still moving then it spread to his whole leg and it looked like some rocking looking fungus
i was worried and took him to the vet the vet did not now very much about the fungus he gave me some silvadine cream and shots to give him for the infection he also now drags his leg and rarely moves it.
i am now washing his leg every day with warm water and pat drying it with a towel and applying a cream called Terramicina-Oxitetraciclina-Polimixina B and the swelling has gone down.
it worked for a little while when i ran out of medicine it started again
is there a medicine that i can use to clean the fungus?
Is it normal for him to be a picky eater?
Do you want me to send a picture of his leg?

Answer
Please consider finding another reptile veterinarian.  You would need proper antifungal medication.  In the meantime, try applying Lamisil cream and I would get some acidophilus or some probiotic to help his digestive system improve.  Also get Nolvasan, properly diluted, it will help destroy the fungus, wash well then apply Lamisil.  But please find another vet.  www.arav.org has a directory of members by state.
