Question
hi Pam, i need to know when breeding season is for my beardies i have everything they will need and if not access to what ever it is, i do not need a caresheet or anything like that i know they are 3 years old now. I also knows it depends on were i live because of the weather change(climate) im in michigan and right here now its starting to get cold, i know that they signs for mating and egg laying and that stuff too. the breeder i bought my female form was breeding his december through january which is strange knowing they should most likley breed in warm to hot seasons. Right now i just need to kno the season for breeding, im a little afraid because last time they were together a fight broke out and my male bit a half of an inch off my females tale, it is fully healed now but im just afraid this will happen again.

Answer
Normally, beardies brumate this time of year, and males need to brumate a few weeks at least in order to be "potent" for breeding.  Natural breeding season in the US would start late February / early March when they are truly awake from brumation.  Egg laying would start between 3 to five weeks after mating.
