hi tracie back in april i asked for advice about hyper rex - who is doing gr8, but now i want to know wud u advise i cut his nails myself,as in my area theres no vets who deal with reptiles so im stuck,ive bought the cat clippers from pet shop and kno to just take the thin black tip but wud i be better finding a vet,also the nail tip is so thin that lookslike it fit better in my own regular clippers or is that just a silly idea? thanks. jac.

That is great news to hear that your Rex is doing SO well!
Well, really, all you have to do is use human nail clippers, it is extremely easy!
Just look to see where the red vein is & clip right above that.  It should not hurt him in the least.  
The cat clippers might be hard to manipulate around on his thin nails.
