Questionwe have two mountain horned dragons one female one male and recently he has stopped eating so we started force feeding and she wont eat at all they sleep all the time and are very rarely active...she will just lay on my chest and sleep...what should we do i am afraid that they both will end up dying since they have become members our family
AnswerMost mountain horned dragons are wild caught, so the stress of capture, being shipped, warehoused, in the store, then your home can take a toll. Usually they have really bad parasite issues. I would have them checked by a good reptile vet for any stress related medical issues. Bring a fresh fecal from each dragon. I doubt that it could be brumation because they are from Southeast Asia.
