Question
i recently moved to a new place and my gecko does not come out of his house and does not seem to be eating, he used to come out all the time and would eat out of my hand. what are possible reasons he may not want to come out anymore or can it be solved?

Answer
I would need to know other information, such as how old is your gecko, what specific species, and how you transported him from place to place.  If you have a juvenile that reached puberty, he may change his relationship with you.  If he was transported in his enclosure, he may have received an injury.  If he was transported in a separate carrier, he may be going through relocation stress.  I would have a good reptile vet rule out injury and have a fecal test done to rule out a rise in parasite load in his digestive system from the stress of the move.  Then I would get a probiotic, like acidophilus to recondition his digestive system.
