Question about sick Tokay Gecko

Question
I currently live in South East Asia and after moving into my home 6 months ago I realized I was sharing it with a female (?) Tokay Gecko and what I think may be one of her offspring that showed-up about 3 months ago. They seem to come and go as they please in and out of the house and generally hideout behind or under the sofa or bookcase (or walls/windows). I have been away from home for the past 4 weeks and upon returning today I found the baby dead and the mother seems very sick - skinny, less color, darker, minimal response and activity. Since moving in I have never fed them or done anything to alter their existence while staying in my living room - only enjoy their company and noises. I would like to help the mother but am unsure what the problem might be or if I should try to put some food out for her etc. Any suggestions or recommendations are very welcome. Thank you.

Answer
Hello Nancy,

Has she been exposed to any sunlight at all?  The main concern is that she could be calcium deficient if she is not getting any calcium in her diet or not getting much of any UVB exposure either.
I am sorry that the little baby had passed away, that is too bad.
If you have any worms or anything, you could put a little bit out for her, with some calcium sprinkled on it.
Perhaps you might want to try & capture her to put her in a tank for now if she is not doing well.
