doe lost litter

My doe lost her first litter, are there any issues in regards to her not being nursed? Will her milk dry up ok by itself? Anything else I should look for.She is outdoors,( snow on ground) has good hutch, hay, pellets,oats,sunflower seeds and carrots and apple. Thanks.Angel.

I do not work with breeding animals, but, the milk should dry up, you'll want to make sure she doesn't get inflamation in that area.  You'll want to keep her away from any males also to give her a chance to recover.

Has long as she has plenty of good fresh food and is warm, she should recover fairly quickly.
