do rabbits get along with guinea pig

i have a 10 month old  female rabbit and i want a companion for her is a guinea pig a god companion and if so what gender.

It's going to depend on who you talk to.  There is info at http://homepage.mac.com/mattocks/morfz/rabcare.html#pals  The only issues of concern are that guinea pigs can catch bordetella from other animals, and that guinea pigs need additional vitamin C daily since they cannot make it themselves.  I have seen rabbits and guinea pigs get along together.  I don't think the gender matters so much as the companionship.
