Question
My 5 year old, 3 1/2 pound rabbit has not pissed or shit in the last 2 days. Sorry for the explicited words.  She does eat and drinks a little.  She eats very little hay if not at all. I know she is overweight.  She is also an indoor rabbit.  She is a min. rabbit, white and black. Her name is Muffin. Please answer, I am so worried. Thank you so much. Answer
Dear Maryann,

Your bunny needs to be seen by a good rabbit vet ASAP, and you can find one here:

www.rabbit.org/vets

Any time a rabbit stops producing normal fecal pellets or urinating, it's a major problem.  Please carefully pick her up and check her anal area for a buildup of mushy/dried poop that could be blocking her from defecating and urinating.  If you find this, you must gently tease it off by powdering her with cornstarch in the area, and working it into the fur so the poop block will gently come away without tearing her delicate skin.

If she is not eating normally, please read this right away:

and this one:

I hope this helps get you started. Please write back if you have any other questions.
