Question
Hello,
I have a little problem with my rabbits. I bought two babies not knowing their sex. Any way one was a female and one was a male. So I had to split them up. Then I thought it would be cool to have a litter of rabbits. So I was wondering how old they have to be? They a small lop rabbits. They are about the same size as 3 soft ball put together. Not very big. Any way, they will be 7 months in July. Is that old enough? Or should I wait longer?

Thank you.

Answer
Hi Moyra,

First off you should NEVER breed bunny's because you think its going to be cool. Its way more work then you might think and are you willing to possibly loose your doe? It can happen here are some links to articles from the HRS (House Rabbit Society) on the subject then if you truly are still interested let me know and I'll help you out.
