unusual sore, worried

My daughter has a six year old rabbit. I was changing its water and noticed a sore behind the ear. It is about the size of a quarter hair loss but only a small mark.
What is concerning me the most is that it is a bit resesed and hard around the edges. She seems the same in temperment and activity.

Dear Kim,

If this is an open sore, it sounds as if bunny might be scratching herself raw.  She might have an ear infection or ear mites, or fleas causing her to do this.  Please see:
