Not enough space for my bunnies?

Question
I have 2 adult males and 2 adult females. My doe just had a litter of 6 so I put her in a cage by herself.I have 3 cages in all and they are decent sized cages.I seperated the 2 males but I had to put my other doe in a cage with the male. She has been bred and will have her litter in 3 weeks. The male constantly runs her around the cage and she grunts at him.Can this hurt her or her unborn litter with him trying to mount her all the time?
Also..even though the cages are big enough to get plenty of excercise is it healthy to keep them caged up outside all the time? And if i make a cage on the ground for them to run free a few times a week will it make it worse by letting them do this and then having to go back to the cage again? At what age can I let the 2 females be together again? Will she eat the others babies? sorry so many questions.

Answer
I don't know if keeping the male in the cage will hurt her, but I believe it is standard practice to remove the male after breeding.  I do know that if he is in the cage when she has the babies, she can immediately get pregnant again.  We don't breed rabbits so I don't know for sure.

If the cages give them plenty of exercise space, and they get a little out time on the ground, that should give them some exercise time.  They need some, but they don't need to be out all the time (although they think they should be).

I don't know if putting the females back together is an issue, I know you can do it after the babies are weaned but I don't know about before.

I think another expert on this list does breed if you want to check with him.
