oops babies

think both are females, do rabbits not become as swollen with milk as cats do?

my daughters had three bunnies, they were being temporarily housed together as they are young, one managed to escape and was found dead, the other two have been doing great, yesterday, we noticed there was a nest built in the cage, covered with fur and containing NINE babies.  I do not know which is the mom, weather here is freezing at night and I want to move mom and litter inside, but how do I tell which one is the mommy?

The female of course will be nursing the babies now, so you should be able to even see nipples on her abdomen, which could make it easier on you for now to tell who is who.

They do once being pregnant many times. Usually with first few litters they don't, but like with dogs. once they have a few litters the breast hang a little. Rabbits are very different creatures. :)The whole www.islandgems.net website has lots of rabbit information that you may find useful now and later with owning rabbits.
