Question
Hey,

I have had a  dutch/english sweetie pie for two years now and she shared a hutch with her sister for a year until she died so now my friend has bought a   1 year old lop and they met for the first time last week and her male mounted my female. I am curious if my kittens will be ok or if they have a smaller chance of life as every web page ive read says breeding  different breeds is not reccomended and should be avoided........ I do  not want the kittens to be harmed or have any disorders please give ,me some advice....

Answer
Your kits will be fine. Every webpage you are reading is saying that it is not recomended and should be avoided because it is hard to sell or give away mixed breed rabbits. Usually only pet owners will even consider buying a mixed breed. No harm will come to the kits from this breeding though.
www.islandgems.net list lots of information on rabbit breeding and raising. You probably should check it out since you may have babies on the way.
