Question
just recenty, i noticed that some of the tips of a few claws had snapped off. they were still dangling there and when i tried to gently tug them off, they wouldnt budge. bunny isnt in any pain and the broken tip is no where near the veins. how can i remove them safely?
thanks

Answer
Dear Winnie,

We use the guillotine-style nail trimmers you can get at any good pet supply store.  Cut the nails about 1-2mm out from the quick (vein), and you should be fine.  Do all the nails while you're at it, so you won't have this problem again.  Loose nails can snag on things and cause injury.

Hope this helps.
