Maybe pregnant?

Question
I adopted a bunny from heritage humane in my city and we estimate she is about 2-3 years.  When they received her they did not know she was pregnant until 2-3days later when she gave birth. Unfortunately none of the babies survived.  My inlaws recently got a new baby bunny male about 3 months old.  We let them meet, expecting her to be mother like. That didnt happen.  He would mount her.  She is over 5lbs he is like 3lbs, with her being 3 times his size.  We would push him off and I really dont think they connected with him being so small but now she is presenting some signs.  It has been two weeks, and she has gained a little weight and gotten a little aggressive.  Is it possible for her to get pregnant from a male that young?  I am thinking that she thinks she's pregnant again since she has experienced this before.

Answer
Dear Marissa,

The two introduced rabbits behaved exactly as should be expected of them.  It's not likely that the male is old enough to impregnate her, but if his testicles have descended, then he could have viable sperm.  Time for him to be neutered:

The female bunny may be having a false pregnancy, stimulated by the sexual activity. But you won't know for sure for a couple of weeks, since rabbit gestation is about 28-31 days.  No easy way to tell if she's pregnant other than palpation by an experienced vet, or radiographs, which I wouldn't recommend.

But after three weeks, have her spayed so you won't have any more scares. Please read:

Hope this helps.
