Kinda mean

Hi, I bought a bunny about 2 months ago from a pet store, i love him to death, but i dont think he loves me very much! He grunts when i pet him, and he bites me when i pick him up.  I didnt know if there was something i could do to change this, or if this could be normal? let me know what you think! Thanks!
