strange eats

after i cleaned my rabbits cage he had gone to the bathroom and i noticed he ate his poo is this normal and can that hurt it

Rabbits produce two kinds of poop, normal pellets and special poop that they eat.  The special poop is called cecals.  Rabbits don't get all of their nutrition when they first eat their food.  Their body produces cecals which are full of additional nutrition.  These rabbits eat.
