Questionare rabbit snuffles contagious to humans?
AnswerDear Cynthia,
No. Rabbit "snuffles" are caused by bacteria such as Pasteurella and Pseudomonas, and a human with a normal, healthy immune system is not very susceptible to these bacteria. A person who is immunocompromised, as by AIDS or other immune disorder, would be another story. But you can't catch "snuffles" from your rabbit.
Please read:

for more information, and find a good rabbit vet here:

who can help your rabbit get over this problem.
Hope this helps.
