Question
So me and my friend found a baby rabbit our in the yard. and it looks like its blind. but i don't know. its really small and brown. We caught it in a bucket and put it in a nice cage. I don't know what type of rabbit it is. Or what to feed the poor thing. We didn't see the mother anywhere or a nesting place of any type. What should we feed it?

Answer
Well MYO !
It sound like you foung a wild  baby rabbit and if its eyes were still shut it is only a few days old maybe a week. It really need its  mother and if you have already handled it she probably will not accept it back. even if you found its nest. It probably cralled off and got lost. Rabbit mothers will not carry their young around like cats or dogs so they just loose them.
Now  if the baby is still alive  you can get a mile replacment kit from a pet store the one for cats will work, follow the instructions in the label.
the odds are that if it is a wild rabbit it will struggle  but the cahaces ir slim that it will make it, sorry but they are hard to nurse when they are this young.
Good luck. and thanks for caring for such a small baby.
