rabbit scab in nose

hi again.. I asked you question 2 days ago about my rabbit fur mites and thanks for the quick response...

I was shock yesterday, when I woke up my rabbit bush-bush has a scab on his nose and its bleeding. His fur on his nose is gone what i am going to do? I can't take him to the vet because I don't have enough money..

Hi Hillary,

He most likely scratched himself. We really need to find a way to treat those mites. In the meantime,  a little bit of flour (like you bake with) will usually clot bleeding and a bit of basic Neosporin (not the "Plus" version) should help heal the scratch quickly.  Just don't overdo the flour or you will have a sneezing rabbit too.  There is a product known by various names that is available at most pet stores that is designed to stop bleeding.
