QuestionOur black bunny had a white strip on her left side. This bunny got out of the yard and was missing for a week. When we got her back she now has more white around her neck and on the left side. I can tell she did not eat well and the temperature is very hot out side (110 degrees). She also has a cut on her lip like she might have been attacked by something. Would stress and or dehydration cause the changes? I am almost 100% sure it is the same bunny due to the area and other physical features. Also should I put her back in with the other bunnies right away?
AnswerDear Micael,
This is very likely a different bunny. Be extremely cautious about introducing her to other rabbits, as they will fight even a familiar bunny who has been away this long. Please see:

for tips on safe bonding. Also note that the bunnies are NOT safe outdoors in this kind of heat, and they should be inside where it's cool and protected.
I hope this helps.
