Is my rabbit a boy or a girl?

I got a baby rabbit from a friend of a friend when the rabbit was only 7 weeks old. Now the rabbit is going on 9 weeks and I'm not certain of the sex of the rabbit nor how to even check. I read some things online but I feel uncomfortable touching my rabbit in his/hers genitals. I feel like I'm violating the rabbit's private parts! But understanding I have to in a way to check, what is the best way to determine the sex?


Also, my rabbit cannot be tranced. I've tried many times, but he/she always squirms and jumps out of my arms. Any suggestions how to trance a rabbit? And would that be helpful for sexing?

hi melissa dont be shy just put it upside down in your hand and you may see its testicles if its a boy -if not just lightly touch near the private part and if it looks like a slit its a girl but sometimes the little penis will pop out if its a boy.
