Breeding Holland lops

Question
Thanks for all your advice! I ended up breeding my rabbits today :)

I put the doe in my bucks cage around 1:00 and left her in there for about 30 minutes but she wouldn't lift her tail and it wasn't working out. I put them outside in the grass in a playpen and my buck started humping my doe and I think she lifted her tail. He fell off a few seconds later. I took the doe out right away.

I didn't know if it was succesful so I put them together again an hour later. They did the same thing and my buck fell off my doe after a few seconds and made a little squeling noise. I took the doe out right away.

I don't have any experience breeding so I don't know if this was the correct way to do it. I put them together again about 5 hours after the first time I put them together. My buck tried to hump my doe but she just ran away and bit at him so I took her out. She is very fiesty!

Im sure your experienced with breeding. In your own personal opinion do you think this was succesful and my doe is pregnant? Like I said before my doe is 17 months and my buck is 7 months, they are both Holland lops.

Thanks!

Answer
hi kylie you have a pregnant doe bucks tend to fall of the doe and make a squeaky sound.
she must now be on her own but beware she may try to bite you .
gestation is between 28-32 days and make sure she has plenty of hay nearer the time so she can make a nest and don't worry if she pulls fur off her chest.
