brood rabbits

My daughter is getting a rabbit and was told it is a brood doe. I think that is a good thing for her but am not sure. please advice if this a good starting rabbit. thank you

hi Teresa brood does are ok but they may start to make a nest and go through a false pregnancy which is very common.
they do all the right things but in the end nothing happens.
she must not be put with a buck as she will conceive very easy
they can get a bit aggressive so i would advise you to have her spayed and this will calm her down and make a great pet.
