Question
I have two sister rabbits that are 5 months old. They have always lived together and as yet are not neutered. Recently one of them has been chasing the other. I have found lots of fur in the cages which I think is a result of this and the rabbit being chased seems scared and withdrawn. Do you have any suggestions how to deal with this issue as I really dont want to seperate them.

Answer
It's likely they are hitting rabbit adolescence, and the only fix (so to speak) for this problem is to get them spayed.  Some vets won't spay them til they are at least 6 months old, so if your vet waits, you will need to separate them temporarily.

You can put them side by side, so they can still see and smell each other, but the aggressive one won't be able to chase the other rabbit.

Once they are spayed and have recovered, then you should be able to put them back together and this behavior will stop.
