Whisters are all gone?!!

My  11 month old spayed female rabbit was sick last week and on antibiotics. She fine now form her bladder infection. But she has NO whiskers left.Is that normal and will the grow back? Oreo looks kinda funny now

Dear Michelle,

Does Oreo have a companion?  If so, s/he might have groomed off the whiskers while trying to comfort the sick bunny.

If Oreo just lost the whiskers due to her illness, she should grow them back in time, usually when her new coat grows back in the spring, but sometimes sooner.

If she is a Rex, then she will *always* have very short, curly whiskers, and this is normal for that breed.
