Question
We have a 7 month old lion lop,Gremlin, who has formed almost an obsession for Swede. We put half of one on the floor when the Guinea Pigs had their run around and forgot to pick it up before she came out. Now it's almost like she's not happy till she gets her fix of swede every day. We're a bit worried about the sugar content though. We know she wouldn't like it but  we don't want to keep giving her Swede every day if it's really bad for her.

Answer
Hi Susan
What a cheeky bun!

Treat Gremlin like you would a toddler who has just discovered ice cream, offer only that healthy foods instead and ignore the tantrums!

Swede can be a rare treat like carrots, but you are right to worry about the sugar content. Try and transfer her obsession to a more healthy treat like mint or basil leaves. Mine love their herbs and they are much healthier for buns. Herbs can easily be grown on windowsills too.

Good luck!
