Do you know whether zoning laws permit us to have a pot bellied pig (miniature) in Nassau County, New York?  How about Suffolk County, New York?

County zoning laws rarely address pot-bellied pigs. The city or village zoning laws and Homeowner's Association rules take precedent.
The best thing to do is call the City Hall and obtain a printed copy of the zoning ordinances, and, if there is a Homeowner's Association, their rules also.
