Question
I have a 2 year old potbelly pig Norma Jean. When she walks she seems like she kicks her rear left leg. It looks like she can't get it up steady and sometimes kicks herself in the belly. I also noticed recently she dosent like to stand on that hoof. When she stands it looks like the hoof is kinda pointed up. She dosent seem to be showing pain but I would have to assume she is uncomfortable. I trim her hooves regularly. She dosent have cracked hooves and I give her regular massages that she enjoys so it dosent seem painful.

Answer
I am not a veterinarian and can not make a medical diagnosis over the internet.

First check her hoof. Look for cuts, bruises, swelling, spots where something appears "caked" on. Check esp between her toes and where the leg/foot becomes hoof.

Another possibility is her hip hurts. Pigs are prone to all sorts of hip problems. A vet could diagnose this with an x-ray

Yet another possibility is that something in her tummy area hurts. Could be internal, could be a pulled muscle or cramp, or it could be a sensation on her skin.
