QUESTION: please if you dont know find you find out for me i have an abundance of animals that i breed i want to get a licence to sell them how do i get the license
ANSWER: As far as I know, you don't need a license to sell animals (at least not in Washington State anyway) but you may mean pedigrees? A pedigree is simply the animal's family tree that you can make yourself which often includes the ancestor's breeder name, type, and any genetic illness (which there shouldn't be any of if they were bred responsibly). However, I am a little worried as to why you are breeding so many animals?

ANSWER: Well there's a simple solution: Don't sell to pet stores. No breeder should ever sell or give their animals to pet stores in the first place. Advertise at your local vet or rescue center for reliable homes. After that? Stop breeding.

that is what i wanted to know is where and how in can get a license to sell my 422 animals i really hope i didnt sound rude but i just want an answer because some day i would like to open a true pet store and not like petco or any other pet store because they all basicaly they all dont treat there little fuzzy friends with love there mean and grab them by there tails and pull them out of there homes not even caring if there going to have a good home or not and i find that very repulsive so if you could please help me i researched my self but i cant find answers how do i (in connecticut) get a license to sell my animals to any where weather ist a pet store a vet a persone or a shelter (how do i get that license please find out its very important please help i hope i dont sound rude because im a very good person that just wants to sell my animales to peapol who will care for them thank you and good night

I'm sorry I didn't answer your question. Here's what I found on the subject: http://www.aphis.usda.gov/ac/awlicreg/awlicreg.html but I have a feeling it is just talking about actual companies or full time breeders... I'd check in at your city hall or equivalent and see what they say, as these regulations vary across the country and I can't give you an exact answer.
