my siick rat:(

i have 2 rats but one of them just started breathing funny hes nose is red and he has diarrhea. Hes acting very funny. The 2 rats share a cage and I'm scared the other rat will get sick. I also don't know what to do about the sick rat hes a year old  and i don't no how to help him. I'm scared hes going to die.

First of all dont seperate them.  The stress will make the other rat sicker.  Is your rat eating and drinking?   You need to try to get him to drink.   Dont worry about him dying, you can simply take him to the vets and the vet can prescribe the medications needed to get him well again.
