Biting

Hello,

My pet rat leonardo has always been sooo nice.  He has a rat mate named donatelo.  I think Donatelo bite him a couple of times because there was blood on the table next to his cage.  The cuts look out and like they are healing but now he has bitten me and another person.  Is this temporary cause he might be sore or is this his new personality?

Leonardo has begun biting? How old are these rats? They may have reached that age where their hormones are raging, which would lead to them scrapping/arguing, and in turn also lead to one or both of them biting you. If they're intact males, I would suggest having them neutered. It would probably stop the biting.
