My Rat has a sore toe.

I recently bought a female rat from a petstore. I noticed that she had a missing toe. Now she has a sore toe next to the missing one. She doesn't walk around on bare wire and she isn't behaving any differently, Shes not going to lose all her toes on that foot is she?

I wouldn't think so, but if she has an infection that spreads from toe to toe (or a blood circulation issue), it is possible. I'd recommend a vet visit if you think the missing toe and the boo-boo toe are related. Otherwise, clean up her injured toe as best as possible, wait and see.
