Little bit of hair loss

Hi Sandra,

 My pet rat Bebe has a little patch (maybe the size of two pin heads) right behind her right ear.  I haven't noticed her scratching at it and she has no hair loss anywhere else.  Is it normal to lose hair in just one location or is there something else that I should be worried about with her?  Thank you!

It could be anything...from a patch of dry skin or the start of something else such as allergies from protein in the diet.

If she is not scratching it and you dont notice her scratching elsewhere I would not worry about it.  This is one of those things that you should just keep an eye on since the symptoms are so mild.
