Sneezing/runny nose?

I've had my pet rat for a couple days now, and I've noticed that most of the time, I can hear squeaking when its breathing. I think this means it's allergic to the pine shavings I keep in the cage, but at the same time I'm not sure..

Pine is HORRIBLE for rat respiratory systems. Change to a hemp, aspen, or recycled newspaper bedding IMMEDIATELY!! Once you change the bedding, I'm almost positive you'll see her symptoms get better. If not, get her on basic antibiotics for a week and a half to two weeks (vet prescribed) and keep her on your non-pine/non-cedar bedding, and she'll be fine. Good luck!
