Dexters teeth!

Dexter's teeth are now starting to grow into his uper lipp theyare aligned, but the bottom ones are VEEERY long. He eats and grinds his teeth alot!!!! So I donot know how they are growing to be this long! What do
I do!?
I am not allowed to take him to the vets to get them trimmed! I am worried! He doesn't seem to be having any difficulties, but he can't even close his mouth!

Oh no!!  He has what is called MALOCCLUSION and he MUST get them clipped or he will starve to death because he wont be able to eat.  He will also end up with a terrible hole from the tooth rubbing through the inside of his mouth.  You cannot do it yourself or you may clip his tongue off.

It is cruel to deny him treatment for this. I am going to assume its your parents that will not allow you to take the rat for treatment yet the allow you to have a pet? That doesnt make sense that your allowed to have a pet yet are not allowed to take care of it properly.

I know its not your fault. Perhaps you can explain to them this can really hurt him if he isnt treated.
