Solid lump on top of spine

Hi there, one of my boys is only a year old.  A couple of months ago he had an abcess on the side of his face and this has now cleared up.  Today when cleaning them out I noticed a large solid lump on the back of his neck between his shoulders. He looks like a little ratty hunchback. I know it's not an abcess because it's quite solid. It has come up quite quickly. I didn't notice it a couple of days ago.  Do you think it could be a tumour?  He is still eating and running around as normal.

If its solid and isn't draining, yes, unfortunately it sounds like it could be a tumor. Take him to the vet and get it tested. If you're lucky its very possible that it could be benign (not cancerous), but you need to have it checked as soon as possible.
