Question
Hi. I found a baby mouse this mouning (7/15/06). My mom picked it up and it jumped out and fell on its head. We went and bought it a pet carrier and a water dispensir. Its eyes can open but it sleeps most of the time. I gave it a small pice of cheese, and bought it food pallets made for mice. It doesn't eat the pallets. What am I suppose to do? What am I suppose to feed it? I don't no how old it is, but it has fur, and can balace its self nicely on my arm. I'm keeping if wraped up in contton cloth, is that good enough? or and I suppose to put a hot water bag in to keep it warmer?
Sorry its long. Thanks for your time.

Answer
Hi. I have had no experience with this, but from the information you provided, it seems that the rat is still extremely young and cant eat solid food or drink from a water bottle (not easily at least). Cheese isn't a good food to feed rats anyway. Have a look at this forum www.RatsAhoy.com and ask, they'll definitely help you.
Good luck
