Question
Hi Sandra,

Schnozee just came back from the vet, Dr. Monaco.  His lungs are clear and not much porphryn around nose.  Still, he heard him sneeze once and decided to prescribe "Septra".
He gave me a syringe without the needle and .5cc 2x a day.  It looks like a LOT of liquid.  Was that an error?  Schnozee weighs 1 pound and 10 oz.

The doc also didn't like the idea of neutering him, but suggested perhaps that he live with one of my spayed females.  What are your thoughts on that?

Thanks, as always,

Heidi

.5cc is a tiny bit of liquid. How is the syringe marked?  It may be a 1ml or 1cc syringe which is the entire syringe of course and is too much, but there should be markings.  does it have 10,20,30 etc??

If so, the .5 is before the .10 which is the first bigger line before the .10.   That is just a drop of medication and is correct to be that small of an amount.  I am not sure what your seeing that is alot of liquid?

As for neutering, did he say whey he doesnt want to neuter him?  Iagree to an extent that neutering has no real health benefits and I only do it for aggression (real true aggression not just typical male stuff) If he is aggressive he may also fight with the female, but I wonder why he isnt real keen on it. Did he say? Maybe he thinks its not going to help with aggression?   What was he like?  I have heard he is awesome with rats etc.....  what was your impression?
Does he like Sarah Palin? LMAO Ok ok just kidding!   LOL !
