abcess, cyst?

my daughter's pet rat, one of two females, has a swollen snout. started two days ago, i noticed her left eye swollen. next day big lump just below her eye. it is somewhat better looking today. more localized, still on her right side close to her nose. she is eating and drinking. not lethargic.

Do you notice a head on it or a scab? You can try to hold a warm compress on it and see if anything starts to drain.  I dont like any swelling dealing with the head of face, even if its an abscess. Do you have a good vet that is an exotics vet? How are things looking today?
