my 2 month old rat

i have a 2 month old rat named Muirgheal. he gets very excited when he plays with me. lately there's been a clear discharge coming from his boy area. Is it urine or something else. Its clear in color and pretty much odorless. just curious what this stuff is.

Urine.  Little males tend to mark with urine esp during time out of the cage.  They do this for many reasons, stemming back to their wild ancestors.   Rats in the wild travel at night to forage for food, water and nesting materials etc... they often mark their scent along the way so they can find their way back to their nest again by picking up their own scent.  He is also marking YOU as HIS so thats actually a sign of trust.  Take some unscented baby wipes and wipe it off and chalk it up as a compliment.  He loves you, or is starting to, at least.
