just a follow up

hi sandra, just want to say thankyou so much for helping me with my old sick rat. In case you don't remember, i wrote to you claiming she was dying of old age and wasn't sure what to do. You told me that rats don't die of old age and wanted me to get her to the vet. Unfortunately i haven't gotten her to the vet yet, but i'm not sure if i need to anymore. I have been feeding her a fun variety of different soft foods, including four flavors of baby food (banana, carrot, apple strawberry banana, pear), yogurt, smashed avocado, mushy watered down wheat bread (she loves that!) and apple sauce. She is eating well, and has put on a lot of weight. Her sides are no longer caving in the way they were before. Her eyes are also more open and brighter, with less porphyrin coming out. She is starting to move around more and is even startin to eat certain soft foods without a syringe. She is really improving :) Do you still think i should get her to a vet? Anyway, thankyou again for your help! She probably wouldn't be alive right now if it weren't for your advice.

Also. despite the fact she is getting better, it would be a good idea to have her looked at.  Do you have a vet?  A good vet?????  If no, please let me know your location and I will gladly give you some names.
