rats HELP

im scared my 2 femail rats will get mammary tumors because i didn't spay them. my mom wont spay them because she thinks it s lots of money. How much does it cost. Also they stink due to the bedding i give them what are some bedding that wont be so absorbent email me asap

You want to use aspen and change out the litter every few days. Put the aspen in a litter box and keep wiping the shelves down every day so they dont smell.  Use vinegar and water in a spray bottle.  

Also, spaying can be pricey, and with two rats it may be over $300 for both.  How old are they?  However, if they get the tumors, it will cost even more to have them removed since they usually get several of them and end up needing several surgeries.

You can try to help prevent them by doing a few things aside from spaying and that is to be sure they dont eat a bad diet.  Pet store foods are bad for them and can add to tumor growth.  See my website for info on proper diet.
