Neutering male rats for smelliness?

I adore my 2 male rats but they spray up a storm and make the whole floor
they live on smelly. I clean the cage regularly and completely swap out all
their toys/nests regularly. I've read all the tricks and nothing works. My
husband is going out of his mind. I've read that neutering can help. Do you
agree? I live in the San Francisco area - do you know of any vets here that

Neutering does help for sure!  I have sent you a small list of names of Vets in your area that work with rats, all registered with the Association of Exotic mammal vets.
