Ring Worm?

Question
QUESTION: I know you are a rat expert, but I need help on a question about a mouse! The mouse expert I usually ask is on vacation and I need help now! I think a mouse and rat are related close enough that maybe you could help me! My male mouse, that lives alone, has scabs all over his back and I noticed it almost looks like ring-worm and I was also concerned if it could cause death. I'm not sure what to do, and if there is something I can put on it to help heal. I haven't noticed him scratching so I really am stumped! I really hope that you can help me out somewhat on this! Thanks Again!

ANSWER: I own mice as well so I can help you.
It could be ring worm or mites. the best thing to do is go to a vet and ask for a treatment, I always will recommend a vet. You can try some medication for rodents and mites or fungal infections from petsmart as well.
