Question
QUESTION: jolie is on trimethoprim sulfamethoxazole for her respiratory problem, and she has what seems to be an inner ear infection, which i saw childrens motrin would help she is badly leaning her head to the left and having problems standing as well as walking straight,so i bought some but wanted to double check before i gave her any.

please help

ANSWER: Yes this is good to use but steroids are really the better choice.

How long as she been on the Trimeth?

Do you know her weight or a good guess?  I need to know her weight before you dose her with the childrens liquid motrin so I can tell you a safe and accurate dose to use on her.

QUESTION: well sandra, i appreciate the help sadly i had to put her down this morning, she was so bad off only able to spin on her side.

the doc, told me steroids could be used but in her case would most likely do nothing, and so we put her to sleep, i really do appreciate the help tho, if any of my others have a problem ill surely be writing to you.

Answer
I am so sorry.  It almost sounds as if she may have had a pituitary tumor rather than an inner ear infection as she was displaying very severe signs that usually are indicative of the tumor instead.  You made the right choice and again, I am very sorry you lost her.
