Rat medications and where to find them?

Question
I recieved a couple of female rats yesterday. The lady that I got them from claimed that there was nothing wrong with them *to her knowledge*.

I didn't touch them -much- for the better part of the day. I did stick my hand in the cage a couple of times to see how friendly they were and how well they responded to my hand being in the cage. Later last night I picked the seemingly shyer rat up, and before I could get her properly positioned to my chest she FLEW from my arms straight to the floor. I picked her up off of the floor and   she peed a little on me. Her pee was a brownish red color. I am assuming that this is a UTI or something of that nature. It also seems that she is growing a mammary tumor.
I found nothing wrong with her sister physically, and I've made a vets appointment for them to get checked out. Unfortunately there are NOT that many exotics veterinarians in my area that I know of or trust!I am really disappointed. I can maybe understand not knowing that she has bloody urine, (She said she didn't take them out often anymore which is why they are as flighty as they are, probably.) but how could she have missed a mammary tumor?
I would like to know if there are any medicines or anything, really, that might help ease her discomfort until the exotics vet gets back from what ever he is doing?
Is there anything I, personally can do?

Answer
Your already doing plenty by getting the girls out of that house and into yours.  Thats the first step.

The second step is getting the rat treated. Your right, hematuria is a sign of a urinary tract infection.  Treatment is with amoxil or trimeth sulfa for 10 to 14 days.

Tell me who this vet is, I can tell you if your wasting your time and money.
