Question
I am building a cage for my African Grey. Is it OK to use copper tubing (sealed) as a building material?

 Thank-You

Answer
Hello,

I haven't really heard much about types of tubing that can and cannot be used for cage materials, I know for certain that anything with zinc is definitely NOT a good material to use. What do you mean by the tubing being sealed? If you're just using the copper tubing as a sort of frame for the cage, I don't see anything wrong with it. I'll do some more research and see if copper is toxic to birds. As far as I know, it should be okay!
