lovebird missing

hi,my lovebird flew away in the wild and has not returned now over 48 hrs,i have kept his cage outside food but he has not returned pls help

Hi
Love birds have extremly strong wings and they intend to fly far distances . Just try keeping it for a while who knows mybe it will come bACK TO he cage. Try posting on websites for people who find it and go look for it around. An effective technique i suggest is that you go on playing LOVE BIRD songs on an electronic device and walk through that place he flew missing and he  might reply back !. so you can trace him back. If he doesnt reply keep the songs playing on his cage with food again he might come back.
